Join us in welcoming artist and designer Peter Horjus Art & Design to his new studio + gallery at 10 W. Figueroa Street, transforming a former cigar shop into a space that feels every bit as distinctive as his work✨

Peter preserved much of the building’s character along the way - open Douglas fir rafters, exposed brick, vintage wallpaper, beautifully worn walls and raw concrete, creating a working studio where art, design and a little bit of Santa Barbara history come together.

Step inside and you’ll find Peter’s unmistakable paintings and illustrations alongside the wonderfully collected details that make a working artist’s studio so much fun to explore.

Ensemble Theatre Company of Santa Barbara kicks off its 2026-27 season with BUYER & CELLAR, running October 7-25, 2026 at The New Vic Theatre!

Brian McDonald reprises his award-winning performance as Alex, an out-of-work actor, who lands the strangest gig of his life: working in the private shopping mall that Barbra Streisand built in the basement of her Malibu estate.

As he tends to the antique doll shop, gift wrapping station, and frozen yogurt counter in the deserted mall, his only customer is Barbra herself. What begins as a surreal job becomes an unexpected friendship as Alex navigates the absurd reality of playing shopkeeper to one of the world’s biggest stars.

Jonathan Tolins‘ solo comedy is a witty, warm, and wonderfully theatrical meditation on celebrity, consumerism, and the price of living in someone else’s fantasy.

This month Gallery 113 features Odessa Burrow as its Artist of the Month with Nautical Vibe: All Around the Harbor, a collection inspired by the color, character, and quiet rhythms of life along the coast.

Raised in Alaska and now based in Santa Barbara, Odessa works across oils, pastels, acrylics, and watercolor. Her September exhibition turns toward the harbor, from boats at their moorings to the birds and shifting light of the waterfront.
