All Within My Hands Foundation is dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and critical local services. We’ve played concerts and festivals such as The Bridge School Benefit Concerts, Live Earth and Global Citizen, donated proceeds from ticket sales and album releases to various charitable organizations including Fondation de France

’s Give For France and Gilda’s Club NYC, and met with many Make-A-Wish participants. Long time advocates of local food banks, we give back at every tour stop in North America and in the Fall of 2016 celebrated the release of our current album with a series of five shows, donating proceeds from all ticket sales to food banks in New York City, London, Toronto, Los Angeles and Oakland. All Within My Hands is taking things to the next level. While the band will continue to support many causes through benefit concerts (for example, the recent Band Together Concert to support Napa, Sonoma and the surrounding counties after the Northern California wildfires), AWMH is intended to have an even greater impact through a sustained and focused philanthropic commitment and hope to inspire others to join us in making the world a better place through local community support.

Metallica’s visit to Olympiastadion for allowed the opportunity to support two local nonprofit organizations doing critical work in their community. Thanks to Live Nation and the , Berliner Tafel and Paula Panke will each receive €20K.

As the oldest foodbank in Germany, Berliner Tafel prevents food waste and, after careful sorting and commissioning, distributes it to people affected by poverty throughout Berlin. Special thanks to the members of the Local Metallica Fan Club Chapter, St. Germany, who donated their time for a shift at Berliner Tafel!

Paula Panke Women’s Center is a place of exchange and community for women of all ages who live in the most diverse situations and forms. For over 30 years, the association has combined anti-violence work with cultural, educational, and empowerment initiatives—creating spaces where patriarchal power dynamics are named, challenged, and actively transformed.

What does one year in the Initiative look like?

Chattahoochee Valley Community College just completed its first year with the program, and this graduation season, the school is proud to recognize 30 students who successfully completed their training for high-demand career fields, including industrial maintenance, advanced automotive manufacturing, HVAC, and welding.

“The Metallica Scholars Initiative continues to create life-changing opportunities for our students by removing barriers and providing direct pathways into the workforce. We are grateful for the partnership and investment in our students’ futures.” - Associate Dean Cook

As part of the initiative, students received nine-credit-hour scholarships and $450 toolkits designed to help them begin their careers in their respective industries. By the end of the program, these students earned industry-recognized credentials that prepare them to enter the workforce with the skills employers need.

The Fight Against Hunger x Critical Local Services = World Central Kitchen

We made our first grant to World Central Kitchen four years ago, and it has been an honor to partner with them ever since. WCK is first to the frontlines, providing meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises. Under the leadership of Chef José Andrés, Relief Teams urgently mobilize to reach remote locations and work with local food service establishments to ensure basic nutritional needs are met, even in the wake of disasters. The organization knows that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis.

We have made grants to the nonprofit to provide food to Ukrainian refugees; hurricane victims in Puerto Rico, Florida, Mexico, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas; earthquake victims in Turkey and Morocco; and flood victims in Texas. Ensuring people and communities have access to healthy food IS disaster relief, and it is a critical local service.

World Central Kitchen is a shining example of how the second and third pillars work together in a compassionate and essential way.

gave the opportunity to give back to two important community organizations. Thanks to Live Nation and the , Essen für Alle Schweiz and Stiftung Frauenhaus Zürich will each receive €20K.

Essen fĂĽr Alle (Food for All) believes, like us, that no one in Switzerland should go hungry. Staffed entirely by volunteers and supported solely by donations, the organization serves roughly 30 tons of food per week, enough to feed over 2,000 families or individuals. Essen fĂĽr Alle will use our grant to help offset the costs of transportation, rent, and supplementary products.

Stiftung Frauenhaus Zürich (Zurich Women’s Shelter Foundation) is committed to supporting women and their children who have been affected by domestic violence. Our grant will go directly to those affected by domestic violence by funding children’s activities, daily support, childcare, and everyday expenses.

The Local Chapter Fundraising Competition has turned into one hell of a race. With just a few days remaining, Virginia Fuel threw some gasoline behind their efforts and launched into first place. But they’re not alone. The combined total raised by the 27 chapters that have registered donations is just dollars away from cracking $35,000!

Like you, we’re excited to find out who will ultimately win, but one of our favorite things about this competition year after year is that it keeps reaching new people. Here we are in its sixth iteration, and we have five chapters that signed up for the first time this year. We think that is awesome!
