All Within My Hands Foundation is dedicated to creating sustainable communities by supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and critical local services. We’ve played concerts and festivals such as The Bridge School Benefit Concerts, Live Earth and Global Citizen, donated proceeds from ticket sales and album releases to various charitable organizations including Fondation de France

’s Give For France and Gilda’s Club NYC, and met with many Make-A-Wish participants. Long time advocates of local food banks, we give back at every tour stop in North America and in the Fall of 2016 celebrated the release of our current album with a series of five shows, donating proceeds from all ticket sales to food banks in New York City, London, Toronto, Los Angeles and Oakland. All Within My Hands is taking things to the next level. While the band will continue to support many causes through benefit concerts (for example, the recent Band Together Concert to support Napa, Sonoma and the surrounding counties after the Northern California wildfires), AWMH is intended to have an even greater impact through a sustained and focused philanthropic commitment and hope to inspire others to join us in making the world a better place through local community support.

Metallica’s No Repeat Weekend allowed the opportunity to give back to two local non-profit organizations helping those in need: Dublin Simon Community and Women's Aid, who will each receive €40,000 grants to support their work.

Dublin Simon Community supports the city’s most vulnerable populations, helping people get out of homelessness and access and retain homes, all while providing housing, health, and wellbeing services. Our grant will ensure their staff can continue to operate and support their community 24/7, 365.

For over 50 years, Women’s Aid has been dedicated to ending domestic violence against women and children. Using our grant, Women’s Aid will continue to provide life-saving services, awareness, advocacy, training, and their 24/7 National Freephone Helpline so that women can receive support and cover essentials from food to legal fees.

Joey grew up watching his father serve in the Meridian Fire Department and was inspired to follow in his footsteps.

Now participating in a Work Experience internship at the Middleton Fire Department, the Fire Service Technology graduate from College of Western Idaho says the funding came at the perfect time, allowing him to focus on his training without added financial stress.

Joey credits the supportive environment at CWI for helping him build the skills and confidence needed to succeed. “The program is designed to challenge you in a way that builds your skills. What stands out most is how supportive the instructors and staff are — they genuinely want you to succeed.”

And to those interested in a similar career, Joey says, “Don’t give up. Stay focused, stay committed, and keep pushing forward — even when it gets tough.” We echo those sentiments wholeheartedly. Way to go, Joey!

The second half of Metallica’s 2026 World Tour kicked off last weekend from Budapest, and thanks to the in attendance at Puskás Aréna and Live Nation, we’re proud to announce two 6,000,000 HUF. grants to Budapest Bike Maffia and NANE association.

For over 15 years, Budapest Bike Mafia has provided support for their community by providing meal preparation, food rescue, and programs for children and families. Their mission is not only to help, but to build bridges between people and inspire a more caring and inclusive society.

NANE Association works to improve the lives of women affected by violence and help build a world free from such abuse. Our grant will provide NANE with the flexibility they need to respond to emerging needs, maintain core activities, and continue providing support to those who need it most.

Meet Dustin, one of our studying Criminal Justice at Central Community College. With a passion for helping kids, Dustin’s dream is to become a juvenile probation officer, following in the footsteps of officers he saw helping others when he was a child.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: We’ve got an important correction to make.

🎉 The Local Chapter Fundraising Competition Winner is actually MASSter of Puppets, who raised over $20K, officially making them our Champion!

A reporting/accounting error resulted in Virginia Fuel’s total being incorrectly tallied. Virginia Fuel’s chapter head was helpful and very gracious in catching this error. Because of his honesty and how close the two chapters’ totals are, we are pleased to share that we are duplicating the Grand Prize. Both MASSter of Puppets and Virginia Fuel will be our big winners! Thanks to all for bearing with us over this speedbump.

One more shout out to our second prize winner, The Sunforgiven, who raised almost $2K and were randomly selected by the magic spinning wheel. And massive thanks to all 29 local chapters who joined forces to raise a combined $84,682.98! This is a tremendous accomplishment that will help contribute to people in need through workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services.

You may have heard us share that the Initiative is in all 50 United States, plus Guam. But do you know what we fund in the Western Pacific territory?

Guam Community College uses funding to support its Ship Repair Boot Camp. Ship repair boot camps and marine construction trades are in high demand in Guam’s ship repair industry. Participants receive training in Diesel Technology & Preventative Maintenance, Paint Preparation, and Blueprint Reading.

Lucy (pictured here) attended GRCC’s Secondary Construction High School and proved to be one of the school’s top students. She then completed the Ship Repair Boot Camp, and with all that training, is poised to make a big splash in the local workforce. Congrats, Lucy - keep up the hard work!

As we approached the final stretch, the race for this year’s Local Chapter Fundraising Competition Champion was neck and neck. When the dust settled, Virginia Fuel proved they had the momentum to carry them across the finish line ahead of the rest, raising just over $27,000!

Thank you so much to all 29 local chapters who joined forces to raise a combined $93,367.98! This is a tremendous accomplishment that will help contribute to people in need through workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services.

Congratulations to our new champion, and stay tuned… next week we’ll announce our grand total!
