MWPAC is proud to announce our final 2026 endorsement results!

Over the past two nights we have had one of our highest turnouts ever, with 77 members in attendance for night one, and 63 members last night. We are so appreciative of our membership for showing up, participating, and engaging in thoughtful caucus discussions for two lengthy evenings.

Huge thank you to the 43 candidates who attended and graciously took part in our endorsement process.

Aligned with our bylaws, all candidates listed have received 50% +1 of membership votes that were cast on the night of their interview. Male candidates are only eligible when there are more open seats than female candidates. A “no endorsement” means the male candidate received more votes than the female candidates, or neither reached the 51% threshold.

Huge congratulations to all of our endorsed candidates and good luck in your races!

Special thank you to the 20 candidates who took part in our process for your time and participation. Congratulations to our endorsed candidates!

Join us next Wednesday & Thursday for our general election endorsement nights! There are a lot of impactful local races this fall. Candidates in contested races will be on the dais at San Rafael City Hall answering questions directly.

All uncontested candidates who completed our questionnaire, and are in-line with our values, will be endorsed on-ballot only Wednesday night.

Members must be in good standing by TOMORROW, September 2nd, to participate in our voting process. Our endorsement nights are free and open to all, but our caucus and vote are for members only.

We hope to see you then!
