What does World Students’ Day remind us of?

That every student carries potential, dreams, and a future waiting to be shaped. 💗

Education is more than what happens inside a classroom. It builds confidence, creates opportunity, develops practical skills, and gives young people the tools to build greater independence for themselves and their communities.

Today, we celebrate the students who continue to learn, grow, and work toward their goals—especially those overcoming barriers along the way. With access to education, encouragement, and the right support, possibilities can become pathways and dreams can become futures.

Here’s to every student discovering just how far they can go. ✨

What does practical support look like when it’s designed to create lasting change?

It looks like a young mother gaining the skills and resources to build a business and support her family. It looks like reusable hygiene kits helping girls stay in school with confidence and dignity. And it looks like vocational training, local sewing centers, and hands-on skills creating new pathways to independence.

In communities across Kampala, these solutions are designed to go beyond meeting an immediate need. For about $10.00, a reusable hygiene kit can last up to three years, helping remove one more barrier between a girl and her education.

Because meaningful support isn’t only about what we provide today. It’s about creating the tools, opportunities, and confidence for a stronger tomorrow. 💗

🐆🐅🦓🐘🐆💃🏻✨Had a great Saturday night at Safari Nights - Experience the Pearl of Africa at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Rafael at Marin Center supporting Melissa Prandi Children Foundation!
We raised much needed funding for women and children in need; building a school, providing shoes for children who had never had a pair before, building a sewing center, making and providing hygiene kits, and so much more.
You can still make a donation, sponsor a child, or bid on some auction items 🦒🐘🐅🦓🐆💃🏻✨

Last night was our Safari Nights - Experience the Pearl of Africa and it was an incredible evening. We are keeping a few items open on our silent auction. Please go to the link below and bid to help to support women and children in need. You may want some beautiful art, a fun plane ride to see the bay, or you may want to donate grow with me shoes to a child who has never worn shoes before. This will officially close in one week on October 18th.

What does opportunity look like for a girl?

It looks like access to education, protection from exploitation, and the practical support that helps her grow with dignity and independence.

On International Day of the Girl Child, we recognize the strength, potential, and human rights of girls everywhere, and we reaffirm why this work matters. When girls have the support they need, opportunity can change a community.

Every step matters. 👣

The new Walk With Me program is helping provide children in Uganda with shoes that grow up to five sizes, giving them protection, comfort, and a pair of shoes that can last for years. 💕

Another simple way that Melissa Prandi Childrens Foundation is helping me every day needs and create lasting impact. ✨

What does it take to shape a child’s future? Sometimes, it starts with a teacher who believes in them. 💛

On World Teachers’ Day, we celebrate the educators who show up every day to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help children see possibilities for their future.

Around the world, many teachers do this work with limited resources, yet their impact reaches far beyond the classroom. When we support teachers with the tools, training, and learning environments they need, we’re also investing in stronger communities and brighter futures for the next generation.

Today, we honor every teacher helping a child learn, grow, dream, and believe in what’s possible.
