Thank you to everyone who helped make the RCP’s 15-Year Anniversary Celebration such a success! On May 12, more than 200 people gathered on the Smith Carlos Lawn to celebrate over 15 years of service, education, and impact through the RCP.

RCP has increased access to legal services and supported people seeking a second chance through free record clearance services, service navigation mentoring, community education, and hands on learning opportunities for students.

This milestone would not have been possible without the people who make up the RCP community. A huge thanks to those who sponsored the event, pictured in the banner below. Thank you to our clients, students, donors, and community partners for being part of this work and helping RCP grow over the past 15 years.

The RCP hosted its annual Alternative Spring Break (ASB) week, inviting Stanford and UC Berkeley law students to work alongside RCP advanced students to write court petitions for record clearance. Throughout the week, the law students participated in a community presentation at Elmwood Jail and observed a successful record clearance hearing for RCP clients. Soon, the law student/RCP student teams will complete petitions for eight individuals, changing lives, one petition at a time.
