Dr. David Miklowitz is Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry at the UCLA Semel Institute, director of the UCLA Max Gray Child and Adolescent Mood Disorders Program, and published author of 8 mental-health related books. He has dedicated his career and research to understanding environmental factors and treatments for bipolar disorder, and has spent decades listening deeply to those with bipolar disorder and their families. He will be sharing recommendations for families and persons of lived experience on the daily management of bipolar disorder, showing the power of combining medication with therapy, education, and family connection.
