ENF helps families navigate through their child's journey with cancer and other illnesses. Ride with Emilio travels over 100,000 miles annually.

Our flagship program, Ride with Emilio, is nationally recognized by the US Surgeons General as a model program. Ride with Emilio is a FREE transportation service for sick children to access chemotherapy and other important medical appointments. Families using public transportation were taking up to 7 hours to reach the hospital while exposing their immune-compromised children to an unsafe atmosphe

re. An ENF van makes sure they arrive safely to the Hospital, on time, every time. In January of 2020 ENF hit the one million mile milestone.

We came to defend. We left with so much more. 🍨🧡

Last year we took home the title and this year we showed up ready to do it again. But sometimes the best part of a competition is not the trophy, it is the community that surrounds you when you are in it. 💛

Thank you to Seven Mile Casino for creating such an incredible space where organizations like ours get to showcase not just the work we do, but the heart and hidden talents behind the people who do it. A room full of passion, laughter, and community all coming together for a cause is exactly our kind of event. 🌟

We had such a wonderful time at Hooper, Lundy & Bookman for an Emilio’s Snack Bag packing day! Their incredible team came together to pack bags that will go directly to children receiving treatment for cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, bringing a little comfort and a whole lot of love on some of their hardest days. 💛

It was also a joy to share more about ENF and the work we do every day for the families we serve. The enthusiasm and genuine care this team brought to every single bag reminded us that kindness truly has no limits.

We had the most wonderful time partnering with the Rady Children’s Managed Care team for an Emilio’s Snack Bag packing day, and our hearts are so full. Together they packed bags that will go directly to children receiving treatment, bringing a little comfort and a lot of love on some of their hardest days.

And as a special treat, the team got to watch our very own BBC Healing Through Nature episode, a beautiful reminder of the impact we are all working toward together. 🌿💛

We have to give an extra special shoutout to Christine Lazott, who has made this happen year after year with so much heart and dedication.
