Today, our Board of Directors came together for a great day of conversation, collaboration and planning at our annual board retreat!

We talked about where we want to go, the steps we need to take to get there and how we can continue working better together to support young people in our community.

A special shoutout to our moderator, Lisa Bass, and to Susanne Chakravarty and Lisa Davidson with for guiding our strategic planning conversations and helping us develop an 18-month action plan to take San Diego Youth Services to the next level!

Behind the scenes of our video shoot with Lucky Duck Foundation at our Storefront Youth Emergency Shelter!

Storefront is the only emergency shelter in San Diego County for children and teens ages 12 to 17.

With more than 23,000 school-age children experiencing homelessness in San Diego County, so many young people need a safe place to sleep and someone in their corner.

We’re grateful to Lucky Duck for supporting San Diego Youth Services and helping us work toward a future where every young person has a safe place to call home.

One out of every five students report being bullied. Bullying can affect a person's mental health, confidence, academic performance, and overall well-being. Whether it's verbal, physical, social, or online, every act of bullying has a real impact.
