!! NEW DATE for the October Care Not Cages Courthouse Rally.

Friday, October 30th at Noon we return to the El Cajon Courthouse to lift up the stories of incarcerated loved ones struggling with mental illness, and those we have lost because they did not receive the treatment and support they deserved.

Treat MI Don’t Mistreat MI is a nonprofit organization helping families learn how to advocate for their loved ones in a system set up to isolate and dehumanize.

🚨ATTENTION: ICE has been driving around City Heights in the area of today’s food distribution.

🚨ATENCIÓN: El ICE ha estado circulando por City Heights, en la zona donde hoy se realiza la distribución de alimentos.

We will begin handing out food a little late today, about 12:30pm and there is a free hot lunch provided by One Solution at a Time at 1pm.

Join for a screening of the film Cuba After Castro, which tells the story of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and the island’s revolutionary history through the first interview he has given to an American journalist.

Director Abby Martin will join for a live virtual Q&A after the screening.

Abby Martin is an American journalist and the founder of The Empire Files, an investigative documentary series on U.S. imperialism. Her previous films are Gaza Fights for Freedom (2019) and Earth’s Greatest Enemy (2025), the latter co-directed with Mike Prysner. Cuba After Castro
(2026), co-directed with Matthew Belen, is her latest film.

The Fall 2026 Teach-In on Palestine is organized by the Gaza@USD Coalition and SoCal Educators for Palestine.
