Dear Shumei Members,
Everything we receive in our lives is an opportunity to express our gratitude to the Divine. Through our daily practice, Jyorei, and the teachings of Meishusama, we can deepen our appreciation for the blessings we receive and discover ways to contribute to the happiness of others.
A monetary offering is one meaningful way to express this gratitude. Our offerings help sustain Shumei America's activities, support our centers, and enable us to share the light of Jyorei and Meishusama's teachings with more people in our communities.
I would like to encourage each member, according to their personal circumstances, to consider making an offering of $10, $20 or more for the 34th Anniversary of Shumei America. Even a modest contribution, given sincerely and with a grateful heart, can become part of something greater when we join together.
Through the spirit of sincere giving, we cultivate humility, strengthen our connection with the Divine, and participate in bringing greater harmony and happiness to the world. Rather than giving with the expectation of receiving something in return, let us offer with gratitude, trust, and a sincere wish to contribute to God's work.
May our collective efforts help Shumei America grow and allow more people to encounter the blessings of Jyorei.
