The AFC Half Marathon has used Cabrillo National Monument as it's starting line for decades, and has given back to our park just as consistently!

generously donates a portion of all registration fees to CNMF each year, plus, runners can make an additional donation at check-out to support the very place where their race begins. 🏃🏁

CNMF is proud to announce we have been selected to receive a $13,400 grant from the National Park Foundation as a part of their inaugural Innovation Grant cohort! 📣🌊

This funding will bring new Eco-Counters to high traffic areas around Cabrillo National Monument, providing park staff with comprehensive data that will be used to better plan, protect, and care for the park.

We’re proud to join the National Park Foundation, the National Park Friends Alliance, and 121 park partners across the country in urging Congress to pass the America the Beautiful Act and renew the Legacy Restoration Fund.

Across the country, the Legacy Restoration Fund (LRF) has enabled nearly 400 vital repair projects, supporting 72K+ jobs and boosting local economies. It’s time to reauthorize this critical funding to ensure our national parks are maintained, protected, and enjoyed for generations to come!
