Our San Diego Surface Warriors took over the aviator's I-Bar yesterday! We welcomed Surface Warriors of all types, from 2nd class petty officer to (x5!!) admirals, and we're feeling inspired to create a surface-themed equivalent hang-out space on NBSD!
Thanks to all who joined! 🎉

👀 where's the Main Brace at?!

Last week, SWO-Select Midshipmen at the US Naval Academy conducted ship selection - a time honored tradition that's evolved over time into a spectacle event, anticipated by the Surface Navy around the globe. The San Diego Chapter President of SNA, CAPT Vic Sheldon, presented MIDN 1/C Sean Mills a framed San Diego Harbor chart, as he was the first Midshipman to select a San Diego Ship! MIDN Mills will be going to USS Spruance (DDG 111) after commissioning. Welcome to the best waterfront in the fleet!
