Spring Valley residents, this one's for you! 🌿
Join County of San Diego Recycling Saturday, June 27 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Faith Chapel (9400 Campo Road, Spring Valley, CA 91977) for the Unincorporated San Diego Residential Cleanup Event. This is your chance to properly dispose of those hard to get rid of items for free.
✅ Accepted items:
Bulky items, electronic waste, broken appliances, water heaters, recyclable materials, green waste, mattresses and box springs, scrap metal, and tires (up to 9 passenger tires per vehicle). Call 1-877-713-2784 to request preapproval for loads of more than 9 tires. No tires with rims or from businesses.
🚫 Not accepted:
Household hazardous waste (batteries, paint, lightbulbs, car oil/antifreeze, household cleaners), construction materials, business waste, or waste from outside unincorporated San Diego County.
Plus, take advantage of free mulch for self-serve takeaway, free paper shredding, and drop off reusable items for donation.
A few things to keep in mind: Lines are longest during the first hour, and service is available until capacity is reached. This event is open to Unincorporated San Diego County residents only.
