Apathy is an easy choice when the focus is often placed on climate doom and what's being lost. But what if we focused on what's working?

🌲 Trees are being planted
🌊 Entire watersheds are being restored
🤝 Communities are leading lasting environmental change

Hope is measurable too!

We're reflecting on the life of Bryant L. Myers and the legacy he has left behind after his passing. Myers believed, “The transformational development story belongs to the community. It was the community's story before we came, and it will be the community's story long after we leave.”

This idea has deeply shaped the way we understand our work at Plant With Purpose. It provided the foundation for the Spiritual Renewal Curriculum that our countries developed together through our global partnership.

We walk with; we don't do for. We don't own the transformation story; communities do. Our role is to listen, accompany, equip, encourage, and help communities recognize and pursue the future God is inviting them toward.

Thank you, Bryant L. Myers, for your guidance and wisdom that have served this organization and so many others, and will continue to be a north star for years to come.
