๐Ÿ’Ž Celebrating 60 years of impact! ๐Ÿ’Ž
Our team was honored to attend St. Madeleine Sophieโ€™s Center's Haute With Heart event, joining fellow community partners in celebrating six decades of empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We were grateful to attend alongside our PR partners at Beck Ellman Heald, who generously gifted our organization a table for this special event.
From the dazzling fashion show to the inspiring program, the day was a wonderful reminder that we're stronger when we support one another. Congratulations to St. Madeleine Sophieโ€™s Center on 60 years of making a difference! โœจ

Yesterday, our very own Christina Pineda (LMFT, Program Manager for Courage to Call) joined K**I to share valuable insight on helping military families navigate the stress of deployments.
When a service member gets deployed, the transition, unexpected delays, and extensions impact the entire family. For spouses, it can mean taking on additional responsibilities and parenting on their own. Children may experience anxiety, changes in behavior or difficulty understanding the separation.
Christina also discussed the challenges that can come with returning home. While homecoming is an exciting moment, reintegration takes time. Families may need to adjust to new routines, changing roles and different expectations after months apart.
Open communication, patience, maintaining routines and staying connected to support systems can make these transitions easier. Most importantly, military families do not have to navigate these challenges alone.
Courage to Call is here to support service members, Veterans and their families with connection, resources and support when they need it most.
Thank you to K**I for helping bring attention to the realities military families face and to Christina for sharing practical guidance on building stronger, more resilient families.

Building stronger partnerships and better outcomes.
In July, our San Diego Federal Probation Program (FPP) team met with Federal Probation and Pretrial Officers to strengthen collaboration and enhance support for the individuals we serve. The meeting provided an opportunity to build relationships, connect with new officers, and deepen understanding of each organization's services and role in client care.
A highlight of the day was a thoughtful discussion on behavioral health services, client needs, and mental health challenges. Our clinicians shared valuable insights and resources, reinforcing the importance of teamwork in supporting client success.
We look forward to continuing this partnership and working together to improve communication, coordination, and outcomes for our community.

โšพ๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ A night at the ballpark brought the Fresno First family together!
Staff, family members, and friends recently gathered at Chukchansi Park to cheer on the Fresno Grizzlies and enjoy an evening of connection, community, and fun. From great food to exciting baseball action, the Chukchansi Suite provided the perfect setting for making memories, sharing laughs, and strengthening relationships outside of the workplace.
A special thank you to the Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians Tribal Council for their generous hospitality and support in making this wonderful event possible. We're grateful for the opportunity and look forward to creating more moments like this in the future!
