When Caroline Westbrook ’28 arrived at Trinity as a Semmes Distinguished Scholar in Science, she knew she was interested in STEM but wasn’t yet sure where her research path would lead.

An introductory neuroscience course with professor Kah-Chung Leong helped her find that direction, eventually leading her into his lab to study the neural circuitry underlying addiction.
