The Children's Chorus of San Antonio Nurturing young people in music and in life. Joyful music experiences for infants through age 18. Performing venues include the U. S.

In addition to presenting our own concert series, CCSA regularly sings with Opera San Antonio, San Antonio Chamber Choir, and the San Antonio Mastersingers. CCSA has performed alongside the Texas Bach Choir and the UTSA Choirs and Orchestra, the United States Air Force Band and Singing Sergeants, and has been featured in Luminaria, the San Antonio Early Music Festival, Musica San Antonio, and the

San Antonio Founders Day Celebration. CCSA's advanced choirs have traveled across the state and around the world with feature performances at state, regional and national music education conventions and tours to Scotland, Italy, Ireland, England, Canada and France. Air Force Academy Chapel, Carnegie Hall, the International Festival-Institute at Round Top, Texas and the Cathédral of Notre Dame, Paris. Other acclaimed performances include a fully-staged Baroque opera production of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and on-air features with NBC-TV’s Today Show and NPR’s Performance Today. Recordings by CCSA include The Alamo City Sings, a 15-year retrospective; Voicerenity: Children’s Lullabies, released under the auspices of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation; and The Best of the 20th Anniversary Concert Performances. Our singers have championed new music for children’s choirs by commissioning seven new works over the past 12 years. CCSA programs include early childhood and neighborhood choir opportunities to reach all youngsters in San Antonio who wish to sing. Music Together with CCSA began in 2005 to provide infants, young children and their families an opportunity to explore music together.

Big shoutout to Respite Care of San Antonio, Inc.! 🙌

We believe music belongs everywhere — and our Music Together with CCSA partnership with Respite Care proves it. Over four weeks, we brought music, movement, and joy to their children and staff, and the impact went both ways. Their team called it "a gift to our children and staff" — and honestly, the feeling is mutual.

Meet Phoenix Children's Chorus! 🌟

Phoenix Children’s Chorus has been transforming young lives through music since 1984 — and with more than 300 choristers across multiple ensembles, they’ve grown into Arizona’s premier youth choral education program. From their auditioned downtown ensembles to neighborhood choirs to their no-audition Poco Voce program for K–3 singers, PCC is built on a simple belief: quality music education should be accessible to every child.

Their commitment to excellence, joy, and community looks a lot like home to us at CCSA — and we are constantly inspired by what they build in Phoenix.

Oh, and a huge congratulations to the entire PCC family on wrapping up their Boston tour! 🎉 What an incredible achievement.

A brand-new choir is coming to New Braunfels — and your family is invited! 🎵

Hill Country Youth Chorus, a new CCSA program for singers in grades 4–8, opens this fall. No audition, no experience necessary — just bring your voice. Singers gain confidence and musical skills; families gain a welcoming community rooted in choral music since 1983.

Rehearsals begin August 31 (Mondays, 5–6:30 pm, North New Braunfels) with directors Karla Cruz & Penny Gabrielson. Financial aid available for all who apply.
