CCSA's advanced choirs have traveled across the state and around the world with feature performances at state, regional and national music education conventions and tours to Scotland, Italy, Ireland, England, Canada and France. Air Force Academy Chapel, Carnegie Hall, the International Festival-Institute at Round Top, Texas and the Cathédral of Notre Dame, Paris. Other acclaimed performances include a fully-staged Baroque opera production of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, and on-air features with NBC-TV’s Today Show and NPR’s Performance Today. CCSA programs include early childhood and neighborhood choir opportunities to reach all youngsters in San Antonio who wish to sing. Music Together with CCSA began in 2005 to provide infants, young children and their families an opportunity to explore music together.
