What a week! More than 700 young musicians audition for the 2026/27 season, and we loved every minute of it! Thank you to all the students, families, volunteers, and staff who made this week such a success! The future of music is bright and we can’t wait to celebrate 50 years of YOSA with you soon!

WOW. What an unforgettable way to close the 2025/26 season. 🎶✨

YOSApalooza brought together more than 600 young musicians for a completely SOLD OUT celebration of music, passion, and community. From the energy on stage to the excitement in the audience, this night was a powerful reminder of what makes YOSA so special.

To our musicians, families, supporters, staff, volunteers, and community, thank you for making this season one to remember!

And the excitement is only beginning… Be sure to keep an eye out for YOSA Summer Symphony Camp and the announcement of our upcoming 50th Anniversary Season! 🎉

Due to an unexpected air conditioning issue at our original audition site, the YOSA 2026/27 season auditions have been relocated to Trinity Baptist Church.

📍 New Location:

All audition dates and times will remain the same.

The comfort and well-being of our musicians, families, and staff are extremely important to us, and this change will help ensure a better audition experience for everyone.

Let’s celebrate our YOSA seniors as they take their final bow and step into an exciting new chapter.
We are so proud of all they have accomplished both on and off the stage, the countless rehearsals, performances, friendships, and memories that have shaped their journey. Watching these musicians grow into confident artists and leaders has been an honor.

An unforgettable evening of music at Shostakovich Five. 🎶✨

From the powerful performances on stage to the incredible energy shared by our musicians and audience, this concert was a memorable way to celebrate the season.

A special congratulations to Zhiwei Huang on an outstanding solo performance, and thank you to Alamo Heights High School Orchestra Director, Carlos Quiroz, for sharing your artistry and leadership with young musicians.

And to all the amazing moms and mother figures who celebrated Mother’s Day with all of us, thank you for the love, encouragement, and support you give our young musicians every day.

What a way to close out the season! 🎶✨

City Series 3: Spring Finale filled the day with incredible music, energy, and celebration as our young musicians took the stage across three unforgettable performances. From strings to winds, mariachi to flute choir, every ensemble showcased the dedication, growth, and talent they’ve built all season long.

Thank you to our families, supporters, and community for cheering on these remarkable musicians every step of the way. We are so proud of all they accomplished this year, and we can’t wait to see what’s next. ❤️🎻🎺
