The first Miss San Antonio, Katherine Hensley, was crowned in 1923 and went on to compete for the title of Miss America that same year. While the pageant experienced some gaps during the late 1920s and throughout most of the 1930s, a Miss San Antonio has been selected consistently since the 1950s.

The Miss San Antonio 2027 pageant will take place on January 16th, 2027. This year’s winner will be the 89th titleholder in our organization's history.

The Miss San Antonio Scholarship Competition and the South Texas Educational Scholarship Fund, a 501c3, provides cash, educational scholarships and networking opportunities to talented young women based on academics', community service, public speaking and the performing arts.

Miss San Antonio 2026 - Myteanna Terry had a wonderful time at the Taste of The Dominion on May 29th, 2026. The event was in support of the San Antonio Food Bank’s Summer Meals For Kids program.

Myteanna said of the event “It was such a good event!! Literally everyone was so friendly, nice, welcoming, helpful and sweet. I met so many people!!”
