11-year-old twins David and Eliana Janes launched a durable medical equipment (DME) collection drive as part of their bar and bat mitzvah community service projects, inspired by their mother, Jennifer Janes, a retired hospice social worker.

They led outreach and marketing efforts, David through email awareness, and Eliana through creative poster design. So far, they've collected and donated 27 pieces of equipment, including wheelchairs and rollators that help increase mobility and independence in our community!

We are honored to be one of the 1st nonprofit organizations funded by . Luke’s Lutheran Health Ministries over 25 years ago and deeply grateful for being chosen for a $25,000 grant in support of our Medical Equipment Reuse Program this year! This generous investment helps us provide life-changing medical equipment to individuals and families. We are proud to partner with an organization that shares our vision of accessible healthcare for all.
