Project MEND Mobilizing our Communities. Project MEND takes in donations of used medical equipment. Oftentimes, this fee is covered by community agencies upon qualification.

We repair, refurbish and professionally sanitize the equipment and then inventory and warehouse it for redistribution to individuals living with disabilities. Equipment is available to low income persons at a cost of $20 application fee.

We are deeply honored to announce that Project MEND has been awarded the 2026 Make A Difference Grant by Mytech Partners, a local Managed IT Services Provider.

Technology is a critical backbone for any modern organization, but for non-profits, the overhead costs of managing and securing IT infrastructure can be a major barrier. Through this multi-year partnership, Mytech Partners is providing donated managed IT services, strategic guidance, and technology management over the next three years.

This incredible support helps ensure our operations remain secure, efficient, and resilient, allowing us to dedicate maximum focus to delivering medical equipment and mobility solutions to those who need them most.

Zion National Park just became the first U.S. national park to provide an all-terrain wheelchair for public use, helping visitors with mobility challenges explore terrain that conventional wheelchairs may not be able to navigate.

The Utah-made Extreme Motus chair uses oversized tires designed for rocky, sandy, and uneven terrain. And there’s a pretty special friendship behind the chair, too.

Extreme Motus co-founder Ryan Grassley and his best friend Sam Durst have been taking the chair everywhere together since 2019. Sam has cerebral palsy, and the high school friends have made hundreds of videos at national parks, rugged trails and beyond, showing just how much more of the outdoors can be made accessible.

Visitors to Zion can now borrow the chair for free for the day, opening up more of the park to people who may not have been able to experience it before.
