“Back-to-School Brigade® took away a lot of the burden and worry about getting specific supplies,” is something we often hear, and the House family reconfirmed it.

From four years as a police officer to nine years and counting in the Air Force, Dayton House kept his family the priority, and ensuring his 3 kids had school supplies for the year was part of it.

The House Family has attended the Back-to-School Brigade® for the past 3 years. They are part of the thousands of families who receive free school supplies, backpacks, and other essentials, all ensuring our military children feel confident in the classroom. In addition to the supplies, the House family expresses their gratitude for the timesaver this event is and the relief it brings to everyone involved, parents and kids!

Operation Homefront is thrilled to welcome Katie O'Brien, our new Senior Vice President of Brand. O'Brien brings more than two decades of experience leading integrated marketing, communications, and enterprise campaigns for mission-driven organizations, including Make-A-Wish America, Wounded Warrior Project, and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

In her new role, she will help strengthen Operation Homefront's brand, amplify the stories of those who serve, and increase mission support for military and veteran families nationwide.

"I am honored to join Operation Homefront at a pivotal moment of growth and transformation. I look forward to helping elevate the organization's impact, inspire greater support for military and veteran families, and ensure more families have access to the resources they need to thrive," said O’Brien.

82 years ago, our valiant soldiers braved the beaches of Normandy. Alongside our allies, they fought for freedom.

D-Day allows us not only to remember the victory, but also the courage and dedication our soldiers displayed. Their commitment to our country changed the course of history, and may we never forget it.

Today, we stand in their memory by supporting our military and veteran families. We see you, we appreciate you.
