Enrichment is on the menu this National Dessert Day! 🍎🥕🫏

Enrichment gives donkeys the opportunity to explore, play, and engage with their environment. Even an empty toy before treats can spark curiosity for their keen minds.

Add a few donkey desserts, such as apples, carrots, and celery, and you’ve got the perfect fun activity for donkeys!

Happy from our miniature donkeys here at PVDR! 🧡

Miniature donkeys originated in the Mediterranean Islands of Sicily and Sardinia, where they were used as pack animals to carry supplies for residents of the islands.

The first miniature donkeys in the United States arrived in the late 1920s 🫏

*These mini donkeys are not available for adoption. If you are interested in adopting a mini, contact [email protected] to be added to the waitlist.
