The cashiers ringing up your candy and the drivers dropping off your costume orders often earn ALICE wages. They help make Halloween possible for all of us.

Show them some extra kindness this week! Leave water or a treat out for delivery drivers, and give cashiers a smile and a sincere thank-you. Small gestures go a long way. 🧡

Thanks for following along this week. Together, we can make Halloween sweeter for every family. Learn more about ALICE in the Concho Valley at [link].

Window clings, pumpkins, inflatables: seasonal decor is half the fun of Halloween! But for ALICE families, it’s often one more thing they go without.

Have decorations collecting dust in the garage? Share them with a neighbor, or organize a neighborhood decoration swap so more homes can light up for the season. 🏡✨

It’s one of our favorite community impact days! HAPPY National First Responder’s day! 🚔🚒

Thank you to Atmos Energy for always partnering with us to help feed our first responders.

We are thrilled to show our appreciation for the San Angelo Fire Department and San Angelo Police Department. Our team delivered a delicious RJ BBQ spread to every fire station and to the police department to thank our first responders for their service and for keeping our community safe every day.

Thank you for all you do! 💙

Classroom snacks, party supplies, and volunteer hours add up fast, and ALICE parents may not have the time or money to contribute.

If you’re able, bring a little extra to your child’s class party so every student can join in, without putting more pressure on families who are already stretched thin. 🧁

For an ALICE household, a bag of candy can mean less room in the grocery budget, so some families have to skip handing out treats altogether.

This year, think outside the candy bowl! Add granola bars, ramen noodles, Easy Mac, or other small meals alongside the candy. For some kids, it could be a welcome snack long after Halloween night. 💛

Not every child gets to dress up for Halloween. ALICE families (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) are working hard but living on tight budgets, and between multiple jobs and rising costs, there isn’t always money or time for a costume.

Here’s an easy way to help: gather the costumes your kids have outgrown and donate them so another child can join the fun! 👻

Over the next five days, we’re sharing simple ways to make Halloween sweeter for every family in the Concho Valley.

Think outside the candy bowl! From costumes to candy, Halloween hits differently for ALICE families living paycheck to paycheck. Here are 5 simple ways you can help every kid in the Concho Valley enjoy the season:

1️⃣ Donate outgrown costumes
2️⃣ Add small meals like granola bars or ramen to your treat bowl
3️⃣ Bring extra snacks or supplies to class parties
4️⃣ Share decorations or host a neighborhood swap
5️⃣ Show extra kindness to cashiers and delivery drivers

Which one will you try this year? 🎃
