🤳 We are pleased to announce our new True Art in Rescue Photography Series 📸

Our first — and very real — subject… Smudge!

We are all getting absolutely hammered on Facebook with AI and ChatGPT-generated posts (we are 100% guilty too 😂) from every direction of the internet. Recruitment/Hiring posts, real estate ads, event graphics, sports pages… even rescue content (who us? 🫢😂 yup!). AI is everywhere.

So, in the spirit of shaking things up a little, we’re making a pledge at Cassie’s:

We’re bringing back the REAL.

The striking.
The gritty.
The honest.

Real dogs. Real stories. Real moments.

We’re going to try to stop over-editing every photo (🤞)
We’re going to try not to Photoshop everything (maybe sometimes 🤭)
And we’re definitely going to try not to use ChatGPT as much…

(Okay, that last one is probably a lie because when we DO use it, it’s fantastic and your socks are getting blown clean off 🤣…so yea we still will)

But for now, get ready for raw rescue photography again.

Back to our roots.
Back to what built Cassie’s Place in the first place.

The trenches.
The chaos.
The heartbreak.
The victories.

The goofy energy.

Every photo tells a story — and every dog deserves to have theirs told honestly.

😻SPECIAL NEEDS, BLIND KITTY😻

Mose has gone through alot in his 6 years of life!
Him and his sister Ruth came to us looking like Zombie kitties (last photo)
Mose had one eye with limited vision for a good while but it seemed to have ruptured and had lost ALL his vision! His eye was removed and he has already adjusted very well and feels much better!
MOSE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

Blind, no eyes

Very playful & a little mischievous!
👍Dog & cat friendly! But needs pet friends okay with his energy
Needs a home with no kids as he is a little "mouthy" and "handsy" (Patient adopter who can help redirect his playful excitement)
‼️ FYI - This boy doesn't have much boundaries and no fear so precaution is needed for his safety!
Mose deserves a home where he can be himself and be his quirky self! 😼
