🎃 WE NEED YOUR HELP! 🎃

Our Trunk or Treat is coming up on October 17th, and we’re looking for candy donations to help make it a sweet night for our community!

We would love to provide plenty of treats for all the little ghosts, goblins, princesses, and superheroes who come out—but we are having a little trouble affording as much candy as we’d like.

Any candy donation helps!
A bag, a box, or a few bags—every contribution makes a difference!

If you’re able to donate individually wrapped candy, we would be incredibly grateful.

Trunk or Treat — October 17th

Thank you for helping us make this year’s Trunk or Treat extra sweet! 🎃 👻

Want to donate? Send us a message or drop off your candy at SAECC during our open hours.

💙 SAECC Family Tip: Try "Serve and Return"

Your child's little moments are opportunities to connect.

When your child points something out, asks a question, makes a sound, or tries to get your attention, respond and build on it.

For example:

Child: "Look! A dog!"

Parent: "I see the dog! He's running. Where do you think he's going?"

Or if your child says:

"Big truck!"

Try:

"Yes! That's a big blue truck. It's driving down the road."

These back-and-forth interactions, sometimes called "serve and return," help support children's developing social and cognitive skills.

You don't need a special activity. Just notice, respond, and keep the conversation going. 💙

🎃 Fall Fun at SAECC! 🍂

Last week, our students got hands-on with one of our favorite fall foods: pumpkin bread! The children had fun preparing, mixing, and exploring the ingredients while learning about seasonal foods and the flavors of fall. 🍞

We love giving our students opportunities to learn through hands-on experiences! 🎃

🎃👻 SAECC IS JOINING TRUNK OR TREAT! 👻🎃

This year, instead of hosting our usual Trunk or Treat at the San Angelo Early Childhood Center, we're joining the community-wide Trunk or Treat event at Blackbuck Amphitheater!

📅 Saturday, October 17th
⏰ 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
📍 Blackbuck Amphitheater
7955 Arden Rd., San Angelo, TX

🎶 The event will also feature a live concert, along with 100+ businesses and groups coming together for a huge night of trick-or-treating and community fun!

🍬 WE NEED CANDY DONATIONS!
We'll be running a trunk at the event and would love your help keeping it stocked with candy for all the trick-or-treaters. If you'd like to donate candy, please consider bringing some to help us make the night extra special for the kids! 🍫🍭🍬

💙 Looking for community resources?
There will also be many local nonprofits and community organizations participating. If you or someone you know is looking for resources, support, or ways to get connected with local organizations, this is a great opportunity to come out, meet people, and learn what's available in our community.

Come out, have some fun, grab some candy, enjoy the concert, and celebrate Halloween with us!

We can't wait to see you there! 👻🍬🎶
