San Angelo's VFW Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Fort Concho Post 1815 OPEN TO VETERANS, MILITARY, AND YOU! Comraderie, conversation and character. WE ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

We are a membership-driven veteran's organization, non-profit, and assist Veterans and their families in times of hardship. We are a family-friendly organization with a 9000 square feet building, which includes one of the largest dance floors in San Angelo! Come see us!

The 2026 Concho Valley Chili Pod Chili Cookoff at San Angelo's VFW this last weekend was a RESOUNDING success!!!

We had a yard full of campers, a building full of contestants, and all our bellies full of Chili!!!

Congrats to the winners and of course an open invitation to return next year!!!

On Monday, All Veterans Council 59th Memorial Day Ceremony was held at Post 1815. AVC has worked tirelessly, for years, to support the local Veteran community. It is an honor to be part of this amazing group of Veterans and fellow Humans.
Those who attended were blessed to witness the reveal of AVC's Memorial Statue "Soldiers Cross".
We are all hopeful that our local government will soon see it worthy of placement where it was intended to be.
