VFW Post 8787 is honored to host a special Ray-Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses Distribution & Training Event for blinded veterans.

When: Friday, September 11, 2026, from 3:00–5:00 PM.
Where: 500 VFW Rd. Austin, TX

Through this program, Meta is donating Ray-Ban Meta AI smart glasses to blind veterans AT NO COST, helping provide access to technology that can assist with reading documents, identifying surroundings, navigating daily activities, and greater independence. Attendees will also receive hands-on training and support.

Must become a BVA Member (free) and meet their eligibility requirements.

The VFW food pantry in San Angelo is empty and needs some help. We never turn anyone away so we stay pretty busy but we are out of food and could use some help. Cereal for kids is a big help also and snack foods. Thank you
