โ˜€๏ธ Making a Splash in Our Community! ๐Ÿ’ฆ

At the West End Neighborhood Organization (WENO), we believe every child deserves opportunities to learn, play, and enjoy a safe summer experience. We are honored to support access to the Fred M. Evans Pool & Splash Pad and help make summer fun more accessible for local youth and families.

We extend our gratitude to Janine Evans for sharing this recognition and for her continued commitment to our community. Partnerships and community support like this help us fulfill our mission of strengthening neighborhoods, supporting youth, and creating positive experiences for West End families.

Thank you to our dedicated Board of Directors, volunteers, supporters, and community partners who make this work possible. Together, we are investing in our children, building stronger connections, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.

๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š WENO is proud to support programs and opportunities that keep our youth active, engaged, and safe this summer.

The War between the States has never been settled.
This is Americans against Americans, still!

The American Civil War (1861โ€“1865): The deadliest conflict in U.S. history, fought between the Union (Northern states) and the Confederacy (11 Southern states that seceded over the expansion of slavery). It resulted in an estimated 620,000 to 750,000 soldier deaths, fundamentally pitting citizens against one another along regional and ideological lines.
