A note from Jess Pelberg Berlin: BIG NEWS! Tomorrow is my last day as the Director of Retreats at Isabella Freedman. It’s been a wonderful 4 years and an honor to serve such a great organization. I really can’t express enough gratitude to the staff and guests who made my time here such an extraordinary experience. By far, the highlight of my career here has been planning the Hazon Food Conference. The Hazon Food Conference represents all that’s good and right in the world and the relationships I formed through the conference are some of my most beloved. As for what’s next for the conference, Chaya S Itzkowitzwill be the new Hazon Food Conference coordinator extraordinaire (if you were at last year's conference, you already know how great she is!).
As for what's next for me, I’ll be moving to Mount Airy, PA and joining the launch team for a brand new company my father started called Meatless Nation (for at least the next 3-6 months). We produced a product called Zamaze, which is a line of plant-based meat substitute products made out of shiitake mushrooms. It's a product that is extremely aligned with the values of the Hazon Food Conference because it is clean, good for you, good for the environment, and tastes great.
Please help me get the word out by:
1) Liking/following us Facebook and Instagram:
https://www.facebook.com/meatlessnation/ https://www.instagram.com/meatlessnation/
2) Trying it out for yourself (it can be found in the frozen food section) at these locations: https://meatlessnation.com/where-to-buy/
If you don't see it in your local supermarket, please request that they put in an order for you!
Ps. You might have tried it if you have been to Isabella Freedman in the last few months. Our chef is over the moon for this product and has been serving it multiple times a week since the day it hit the market.
Meatless Nation is a family owned, natural foods company with a focus on healthy, planet-friendly meat alternatives. We have a full-line of shiitake mushroom-based meat alternatives called Zamaze, which include both vegetarian and vegan products.
