At their core, farmers want to feed people.
Across Oregon, through Farmers Ending Hunger, farmers donate what they grow and raise… cattle, potatoes, onions, wheat, and more. That food is processed, packaged, and distributed through the Oregon Food Bank network so it actually reaches families who need it.
As we celebrate 20 years, that work has delivered more than 40 million pounds of food across our state.
And it matters. Right now, 1 in 6 kids in Oregon is facing food insecurity.
If you’re able, consider making a donation to help move this food from farms to families and be part of this community effort. 💛 Donate here: https://www.farmersendinghunger.com/adopt-an-acre/ KGW-TV
