Tomorrow night, Saturday, August 29th is the last evening of the Summer Concert Series. JFK will be in the house!!
Thank you to the sponsors that have provided this free summer event to our community! Valor Mentoring, Willamette Valley Bank, Uptown Music and the City Of Keizer.
They are looking for a few more volunteers to help with parking, direct people, serve hamburgers, etc. If you are available, ask for Leslie at the park at 4:15.

The Keizer Police Department is disappointed to report that due to worsening air quality and extreme heat, we will not be participating in tonight’s National Night Out event.

The safety of our volunteers, staff and first responders are being considered first. We appreciate your understanding during this unfortunate weather event and look forward to seeing everyone at National Night Out next year.

Information on cooling centers!

In response to forecasted extreme heat, MWVCAA is opening our Cooling Centers on Tuesday, Aug. 4; Wednesday, Aug. 5; and Thursday, Aug. 6; to provide a safe, cooled place for individuals at risk.

The activated cooling center locations will be:

Tuesday 8/4 (forecasted high: 97) (2 outreach teams deployed)
Salem: ARCHES Day Center - 615 Commercial St. NE (18+ Only)
Hours: 1:00p.m. - 7:00p.m.
Salem: ARCHES Family First – 1255 Broadway St. NE, Suite 110 (Families)
Hours: 7:00a.m. – 7:00p.m.
Woodburn: ARCHES Woodburn Shelter - 1560 Hardcastle St. (18+ Only)
Hours: 1:00p.m. - 7:00p.m.

Wednesday 8/5 (forecasted high: 100) (3 outreach teams deployed)

The first car load of the National Night Out Starter Kits have been delivered.
Be sure to register for National Night Out with the Keizer Police Department and pick up your free kit. Kits include tablecloths, plates, napkins, garbage bags, chalk, bubbles, name tags and more!
You will also be entered into a drawing for a Corn Hole game.
