Berry Beautiful, Olivia! 🍓❤️

Thanks to this year’s partnership with WildBrain Studios at Licensing Expo, Olivia’s wheelchair was transformed into her very own Strawberry Ride Magic Wheelchair. We think she likes it! Don't you? 😍

The Magic Wheelchair team took inspiration from the iconic vintage Strawberry Shortcake and blended it with the aesthetics of Olivia's favorite YouTube show, Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures.

Our volunteer builders recreated an icon for an absolute icon. Camden is a Star Wars superfan and wanted his entire family to join the Rebel Alliance with him for his X-Wing reveal day.

The Gresham Lilac Run is one of the year’s most popular events. But it’s not just a great run. Proceeds from ticket sales go directly to organizations making a difference in Gresham.

One of the 2026 beneficiaries is Magic Wheelchair.

Magic Wheelchair is a 501c3 organization that promotes inclusion and self-expression by building epic adaptive wheelchair costumes — at no cost to families. Their mission is to bring communities together to create unforgettable moments and transform wheelchairs into magic.

Their STEM program trains and empowers volunteer builders, makers, and students to create wheelchair costumes that bring their imaginations to life, promote inclusion, and heal the narrative of what it means to be disabled.

Magic Wheelchair has served over 320 families to-date and has a waitlist of over 450 requests. The Magic Makerspace, in downtown Gresham, is their headquarters and a hub to create for the local community.
