Let's give a HUGE welcome to our incoming 2026-2027 State Chair, Faaliha Mohamed!

Faaliha is a graduate student studying Cyber Security at Metro State University. A leader on campus, Faaliha brings a passion for healthcare equality and ensuring our campuses remain affordable for all students.

The State Chair of Students United is a critical role. Serving as a bridge between Students United, the Minnesota State System Office, and Minnesota State students, the State Chair ensures student voices are heard both within Students United, and in the halls of power.

Faaliha has proven through her leadership on and off campus that she's ready to fight for lower tuition, a campus that works for everyone, and ensure our students have a voice at the table. Welcome to the team, Faaliha!

Brooklyn is junior majoring in business admin, marketing, and history at Winona State University. Brooklyn is passionate about state funding:

"When the state does not invest enough in higher education, that cost gets pushed onto students through tuition hikes, fewer resources, and less support for basic needs."

We're grateful to have Brooklyn on our board! Learn more about Brooklyn here: https://www.studentsunited.org/board-of-directors
