What an incredible evening celebrating culture, leadership, and community at our Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month Parent Empowerment Dinner!
A huge shoutout to our amazing Glenwood & Taylor Street student choir for their beautiful performances of Yesterday’s Dream and I Am Light. Our scholars represented our schools with so much confidence, heart, and talent we are beyond proud of each and every one of them!
We also had the honor of recognizing students with the 2026 Daniel K. Inouye Character Award, celebrating scholars who demonstrate courage, compassion, determination, justice, and leadership in our community.
Thank you to all of the families, staff, community partners, and supporters who came out to celebrate with us. We are so grateful for the incredible turnout and for the continued love and support shown to our students and programs. Events like these remind us how strong and connected the RFDC & Robla community truly is.
Special thank you as well to our keynote speaker, Thomas S. Lee, the Grant High School Hmong Club, and everyone who helped make the evening so meaningful and memorable.
