ILM Academy is metro Atlanta's first private, non-profit, Islamic School. With the blessings of Allah, the tremendous growth in the North Atlanta Muslim Community in the last few years has led to a realization among many parents for the dire need of a premier Islamic institution serving the Alpharetta and Roswell area. Over the summer of 2008, a number of motivated and concerned parents and community members decided it was time to put their thoughts into action. The result, Alhamdulillah, is ILM Academy, an accredited, parent governed, independently run and professionally managed Montessori, PreK to 8th and High School Islamic School. With the pursuit of 'ihsan' (excellence) as a core motivator, we strongly believe in raising the bar higher for our children's education. We also realize that an integrated approach to teaching is essential in producing the next generation of confident and aware Muslims. Our hope, Insha Allah, is that our children will stand up and deliver tomorrow if we can provide them with a safe, encouraging, nurturing and mind-challenging environment today. has been granted 501(c)(3) tax exempt status as a public charity. Take a peek into our classroom today! Our Kindergarteners are hard at work (and having fun!) during Daily 5 ,our literacy rotation system where students build independence while practicing essential reading and writing skills. Our little learners rotate through: Read to Self — choosing a “good-fit” book and reading independently Read to Someone — partnering up and practicing reading together Listen to Reading — following along with a story Work on Writing — putting their ideas on paper Word Work — practicing letters, sounds, and words hands-on While students rotate through these stations, Sr. Sabeen meets with small groups at the teacher table giving each child focused, personalized reading instruction based on exactly where they are in their learning journey. Daily 5 isn’t just about literacy : it’s teaching our Kindergarteners independence, responsibility, and reading stamina, one small step at a time!

Celebrating Our Salah Contest Champions!

Alhamdulillah! We are thrilled to announce the winners of ILM Academy’s Annual Salah Contest!

Our amazing students demonstrated their knowledge, dedication, and love for Salah as they showcased their understanding of the **word-by-word meanings of Salah, the proper steps of Wudu, and the correct way to perform Salah.

A heartfelt congratulations to our winners! We are incredibly proud of every student who participated, put forth their best effort, and embraced this beautiful opportunity to strengthen their connection with Allah (SWT).

May Allah (SWT) bless our students with beneficial knowledge, keep their hearts connected to Salah, and make them steadfast in their faith. **Ameen!
