At 3:36 p.m. Thursday, Blaine snapped the first photo. The NFCC Food Pantry queue had reached household #188.

About 20 minutes later, Amy snapped the second. #197.

And we weren’t done for the day.

Thursday is one of our extended-hours days, so our team continued serving neighbors into the evening.

The NFCC Food Pantry serves an average of 210 households each day. We probably hit more than 210 this day. This is what that number looks like in real time.

Every number represents a neighbor receiving groceries and everyday essentials, helping make a little more room in the budget for rent, utilities, medication and everything else life requires.

210 households in a single day.
That’s what an average day looks like at the NFCC Food Pantry.

For each household, groceries and everyday essentials can mean a little more room in the budget for rent, utilities, medication or another expense. It can mean not having to choose between putting food on the table and paying a bill.

And our pantry is here for anyone in our community who needs it. There is no financial eligibility requirement; just bring a photo ID and something showing your current address.

Need support? Come see us.
Want to support your neighbors? Help us keep the shelves stocked.

Right now, we especially need toiletries and feminine products, cereal, instant coffee, meal-in-a-can items and condiments. Donate a few items or gather your people and host a drive for NFCC.

We’re coming to you live from the NFCC Food Pantry because we need your help keeping some essentials on our shelves that are running low!

Right now, we especially need:
🧴 Deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste & feminine products
🥣 Cereal
☕ Instant coffee
🥫 Meal-in-a-can items (think ravioli!)
🥪 Condiments like mayo, ketchup, mustard & jelly

Another Grand Tasting Alpharetta in the books! 🍽️

Last week, NFCC was proud to return as one of Grand Tasting Alpharetta’s community partners for an evening celebrating some of the best food, drinks and flavors our community has to offer.

We brought along a pop-up NFCC Thrift Shop, collected donations for our Food Pantry and, thanks to Grand Tasting Alpharetta, two generous donors went home with new knife sets!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to shop, donated to the pantry and supported NFCC throughout the night. And thank you to Grand Tasting Alpharetta for another great year; we always love being part of the fun! 💙💚

August was another incredible month of community, connection and looking ahead. 💙💚

We gathered with donors and faith partners, celebrated the launch of Roswell Atlas Roswell Atlas with our friends at Roswell Inc, and helped job seekers build their networks and strengthen their skills through Workforce Development classes.

We also made improvements here at NFCC, including a new walkway connecting our buildings, and celebrated our friend Michelle as she retired after seven years of service to our community. We’re so grateful for everything she brought to NFCC and wish her all the best in this next chapter!

And while plenty happened this month, even more has been happening behind the scenes.

As our community grows and changes, so do we. We’re continuing to listen, evolve and invest in what comes next; thinking beyond today and toward how we can serve our neighbors even better tomorrow.

We can’t wait to share more soon.

We have some celebrating to do! 💙💚

Congratulations to our own SaraSpring Weston, Community Engagement Manager, on being selected for the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership North Fulton Class of 2027!

If you know SaraSpring, you know how deeply she cares about bringing people together and making our community stronger. We get to see that commitment in action every day at NFCC, and now we’re excited to see her bring that same energy, heart and perspective to this year’s Leadership North Fulton class.

SaraSpring, we’re proud of you, we’re cheering you on and we can’t wait to see where this experience takes you!

We were honored to partner with the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce to host an evening of connection, service and conversation with young professionals from across our community.

Instead of a registration fee, each participant brought a toy for Toyland and shared why their choice represented a piece of their own childhood. Together, they also assembled Birthday Bags for families visiting our Food Pantry and heard from a panel of NFCC board members, including Barbara Blevens, Scott Jordan, and Staci Parker, about balancing careers while giving back to our community.

Thank you to the Greater North Fulton Chamber and everyone who joined us for your time, generosity and commitment to North Fulton. We’re grateful to see the future of our community in such good hands! 💙 💚

Last week, we gathered with about 40 NFCC donors for a special appreciation lunch. 💙💚

We shared a meal as Amy reflected on what we’ve been working on, where NFCC is headed and gave a sneak peek at some exciting initiatives coming in the year ahead.

Most importantly, it was a chance to say thank you to some of the people who make this work possible; and to look beyond today at what we can accomplish together.

To our donors, thank you for believing in NFCC and the community we serve.

Today, we want to take a moment to honor someone who was known by friends and family as a community institution.

Daniel Sperling was a neighbor in Roswell; a familiar face along Canton Street, a regular at Wednesday night trivia at Lucky’s, and, above all, someone who made people feel welcome.

His friends told us that it didn’t matter who you were. Daniel was warm, open and ready to make a friend. “Anyone who ever met Daniel was left better for it.”

After Daniel passed away unexpectedly earlier this year, the community he built came together to celebrate his life and continue his legacy of giving back, including a generous gift to NFCC in his honor.

We are deeply grateful to Daniel’s wife, Kim, his friends and everyone who chose to honor him by helping care for their neighbors.

What a beautiful legacy: to build community simply by the way you moved through it.

We’re excited to once again host the NFCC Job Fair, sponsored by Wellstar, on Tuesday, October 6!

More than 175 job seekers joined us for our last Job Fair with Wellstar in spring 2025, and we heard from attendees who found jobs through connections they made that day; including Kim, who was hired by Wellstar!

We’re ready to make even more connections this year.

The Job Fair is free and open to all job seekers. Business professional attire is encouraged, and be sure to bring copies of your resume.
