Our Community Transformation Lab (CTL) has been a space for larger-scale partnerships and projects, but we’re bringing some of those same tools and tactics to a wider audience with our standalone CTL Workshops!

Today we honor Juneteenth and celebrate Black history, freedom, and community. On June 19, 1865, more than two years after emancipation was declared, news of freedom finally reached the enslaved people of Galveston, Texas. That delay reminds us that freedom promised is not the same as freedom delivered. The work of making freedom real, for everyone, is not finished, and building toward it is work that belongs to all of us.

In the words of civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer, "Nobody's free until everybody's free."

At TogetherNow we see the power of women in action every day. But as March comes to a close we want to take a moment to celebrate this month that is dedicated to the history made and being made by women around the world, particularly in the space of social progress, where the work is both deeply personal and collective.

SNAP recipients may need to take action to avoid losing benefits. Starting March 1, new federal work rules mean able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs) must meet certain monthly work or approved in-kind activity hours, and even some rules-exempt recipients will need to submit documents.

Change has defined our 2025.

We moved into new headquarters, established 501(c)(3) status, unveiled a new and improved MyWayfinder platform, and officially launched our work to the public at large. So we’re wrapping up the year with some numbers—numbers that tell a story of community action, innovation, and change.

Thank you for every partnership, every shared idea, and every step forward we’ve taken together this year. Thank you for showing what we can do as a community.

Here’s to trusting our strengths in the new year. The only constant is change, so let’s make it for the good. 💙
