Language equity in cancer care is crucially important. When someone receives a cancer diagnosis, their care should be available in the language they are most comfortable speaking. Language equity promotes health literacy, which helps us to understand our health and systems of care. We are grateful that Elisa DeJesus, MS, AT, from Ibero-American Action League, Inc. took the time to write our most recent blog post about language equity, which she also translated into Spanish.
