And just like that, Friendship Walk Season has come to a close. Thank you so much to our amazing community who showed up across New York and truly made each walk unforgettable! With your help, we raised over $300,000 that will go into sustaining and expanding our programs statewide💛💜 We couldn’t have done it without you!

⭐️ Transitions Tuesday ⭐️

The Transitions students at .sms have been operating a drink/snack cart business in their Best Buddies class as a way to build their job skills in customer service, professionalism, teamwork, and food/drink safety!

The students recently created a new menu of cold drinks for the spring and have been working hard to fill orders. Every class the students clock in, set up supplies, review orders, make the drinks and snacks for each order, deliver the orders to classrooms, and clean up their supplies when they are finished.

The students will have their drink/snack cart at the Buffalo Friendship Walk on May 17. Stop by and get a refreshing drink!
