The May 14, 2026 Rochester Area Chapter NYSCAR Monthly Luncheon was hosted by Rainaldi Brothers, Inc., at High Point Business Park in Victor, NY and drew 76 members and guests from across the Commercial real estate industry. Fred Rainaldi provided an overview of current and upcoming projects, shared his thoughts on the future of the office and retail markets and led attendees on a tour of the new Broadstone Class A office space at High Point Business Park. The event highlighted what is arguably one of the premier Class A office environments currently available in the Rochester market.

The luncheon also featured a presentation from Jeremy Smith, Executive Director of Freedom Scholars Learning Center, highlighting the organization’s mission focused on literacy, mentorship, leadership and youth development programs throughout the Rochester community. The event provided an excellent opportunity for networking, market discussion, project visibility and community engagement within the Rochester Commercial real estate market. Thank you again to Rainaldi Brothers, Freedom Scholars Learning Center, sponsors and everyone who attended.

On April 16, approximately 50 RAC NYSCAR Commercial real estate professionals and their guests gathered at the former Creekside Inn in LeRoy, NY, hosted by Kravetz Real Estate and RE/MAX 1st Commercial. Everyone enjoyed an engaging presentation from Bill Farmer, owner of the Inn, who shared the rich history of this iconic property. We enjoyed a delicious lunch, enjoyed meaningful connections with Commercial real estate colleagues and created new connections with new business acquaintances. Our next luncheon will take place on May 14. Details are coming soon, and we welcome both familiar faces and new guests to join us.

Thank you to everyone who attended the March 12 NYSCAR Rochester meeting. We had a great turnout with 82 members and guests joining us for an afternoon of updates, presentations and networking. A special thank you to NBT Bank for hosting and to Tim Brown for welcoming the group. We also appreciated the excellent presentations from Chris Schaeffer from Donohoe Management and Greg Barkstrom from LeChase Construction. Chris shared insights on several properties currently available and provided updates on opportunities within their portfolio. Greg discussed new development initiatives and highlighted upcoming opportunities and projects the LeChase team is working on in the region. In addition, attendees participated in a “haves and wants” roundtable, giving members the opportunity to quickly share current listings, property needs and deal opportunities across the Rochester market. The meeting concluded with open networking, allowing members to connect and continue conversations, sparked during the presentations.

On Thursday, February 12, 2026 Buckingham Properties hosted a RAC NYSCAR luncheon inside an available office suite at Tower280.

It was a great opportunity to welcome NYSCAR members into the space, showcase the suite firsthand and highlight additional office and retail availabilities across their portfolio — including opportunities at The Grove at Midtown.

Tom Latta, Vice President of Leasing and Tenant Relations at Buckingham, also gave a great overview of current availabilities within the Buckingham portfolio, followed by a strong “Haves & Wants” discussion where local CRE agents shared new listings and active tenant requirements in the market.
Always great to see collaboration and momentum within the Rochester Commercial real estate community.

What a great 2026 Kick-Off on January 15! 78 in attendance at the RAC NYSCAR Kickoff Meeting.

A big thank you to Justin Wilcox, Executive Director of Upstate United, for serving as our guest speaker and breaking down the All Electric Buildings Act and what it could mean for New York State, our industry, and our communities.
