Dorothy Day Hospitality House has been feeding the homeless since 1982. Many thanks to everyone who prepared a casserole. We delivered 18 breakfast casseroles to Dorothy Day for their Morning Glory Program.

September 13—Kick-Off Sunday & Pot-Luck 10 am service followed by a Potluck Join us for after the service for fun, food & fellowship! And Games—cornhole, giant Jenga, and a Bounce House. Fun for all ages. Please bring a main dish, side, salad or dessert to share. Beverages and paper goods will be provided. We look forward to seeing everyone and making time to catch up!

September 2—Join the St. Stephen’s Choir—every Wednesday at 7:30pm Do you enjoy singing? We'd love to welcome you to the St. Stephen's Choir! Our choir leads the congregation in worship through a rich and varied repertoire of hymns, anthems, and service music. Whether you're an experienced choral singer or simply have a love of music and a desire to be in community and enrich our worship, we invite you to come and sing with us. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings 7:30–9:00 p.m. New singers are welcome throughout the year – and we often have special events that are fun and easy to join for. If you're interested in joining or need more information, please contact Derrick at music@ststephens-ridgefield.org or simply come to a rehearsal.

We went on a Road Trip last week for our Vacation Bible School! We learned that God is with us wherever we go! Thank you to all our awesome volunteers who joined us on this journey!

St. Stephen's has successfully completed its 30th year of providing backpacks to children in need. Spearheaded by our Outreach Committee, this program relies on volunteers to purchase and fill backpacks with school supplies, enabling children to start the school year on equal footing with their classmates. This year, we delivered 38 backpacks both locally and to area organizations, including Victory Christian Center and Community Action. Many thanks to everyone who participated and made a difference in the life of a child.

Our Samaritan Garden does it again!

There’s something extra special about cooking with ingredients grown right here in our community. 🍅🌿

Fresh tomatoes from the garden at St. Stephen’s arrived in our kitchen and made their way into two delicious summer dishes: a tomato and cucumber salad served over fresh greens, and our summer chicken parm with mozzarella and provolone, roasted zucchini, garlic, basil and those beautiful garden tomatoes.

A big thank you to the St. Stephen's garden crew for sharing the bounty of the season with Meals on Wheels!
