Ekta Community Center, in collaboration with CT LEAD, is looking for high school and adult volunteers to support ESOL classes for adult learners!

Volunteer hours are flexible, so you can choose the classes that fit your schedule while helping learners practice English and build confidence. 📚✨

Looking for a meaningful way to give back?

Join Ekta Community Center in collaboration with CT LEAD, a Danbury based Latin American educational advocacy nonprofit, to support adult learners as they build confidence in English!

Volunteers will assist CT LEAD instructors in ESOL classes by helping students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing while creating a welcoming and encouraging environment. 📚🌍

All high schoolers and adults are welcome :)

High school comes with a lot of changes, and sometimes it helps to hear from people who have already been through them!
Join us for an afternoon where you can connect with other South Asian teens, share experiences, and have real conversations about navigating high school. Whether you have questions, want some advice, or just want to meet new people, this is a space for you.

And of course, it’s a hangout — expect food, games,activities, and plenty of time to have fun!
