September is Su***de Prevention Month 💛

In Connecticut, more than two thirds of fi***rm deaths are lives lost to su***des. Every number represents a life, a family, and a community forever changed by loss.

Preventing fi***rm su***de requires a comprehensive approach, including reducing access to fi***rms during moments of crisis, expanding access to mental health resources, and making sure people have the support they need before a crisis occurs.

Su***de prevention is year-round work. Together, we can build safer communities and save lives.

If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, call or text 988 to connect with the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Support is available 24/7. Learn more at: 988lifeline.org
