Caregiver Connections at Founders Hall brings caregivers together to share experiences, build friendships, and connect with helpful resources. While caregivers gather for conversation and support, their loved ones enjoy time together in another room, sharing conversation, companionship, and special experiences.

During this gathering, our guests enjoyed the beautiful sounds of a live violinist, making the time together even more meaningful. šŸŽ»

With 102 participants in the room, Rabbi Jon Haddon opened Yiddish: The Robin Hood of Languages with the beloved Yiddish poem most commonly attributed to Gene Wilder. But this wasnā€™t just a reading. Participants were challenged to call out every Yiddish word they recognized and share its meaning.

What he didnā€™t know? Joan Kendall had a masterpiece waiting for him.

Maestroā€”a portrait Joan created during her Figure Drawing class honoring the beloved Music History instructor who has taught, inspired, and entertained Founders Hall members for years.

And yes, it was waiting for Michael to discover it.
