BGYRA will be hosting an Intro to Sh***un clinic 9:30AM on October 10, 2026 at Castle Farm, a private clay target facility in Wi******er, KY. It boasts 3-trap fields, a 5 stand and a s***t field. The instructors for the clinic (Mike Castle, Brian Eury, Steve Hall, Cory Williams) are all NRA and 4-H certified and have shot hundreds of thousands of clay targets.

Our goal for this clinic is to introduce each child to the safe handling of sh****ns and their use in clay target sports. BGYRA aims to be a local rodeo association that can provide opportunities for pre-k kids all the way through high school, but we also want to be a launching pad for Central Kentucky kids toward Kentucky High School Rodeo if they choose. Trap shooting is a KYHSRA and NHSRA event and with more and more counties shuttering their 4H shooting sports programs, we hope this clinic can provide an access point for kids who might like to add it to their skill set!

Please message the page or call Cory Williams at 859-621-3722 to get signed up!
