Thank you, Monterey Kentucky!!

The community of Monetery is the personification of

2 major floods in the last year, but they are still standing!!!

Thank you to everyone that came out last night. So many kind and fun-loving folks. It was amazing to see all the smiles, and we hope that for one evening, you were able to forget about all the hardships that you have endured.

Huge THANK you to The Monterey Volunteer Fire Department for coming out and feeding everyone. I had at least 5 or 6 folks tell me it was the best burger they ever ate! 🔥

Let's celebrate the folks of Monetery Kentucky. They need it. They have been through so much 🙏

Widespread flooding in March left the town of Monterey, Kentucky underwater.. Located in southern Owen County along the Kentucky River, just 20 miles north of Frankfort, the town has a storied past. A once-bustling river town in the steamboat era, Monterey was a common stop along the river as boats made their way to the Ohio River. Monterey experienced a renaissance in the 1970s, as hippies moved in, opening art shops and revitalizing historic buildings. Repeated flooding has slowly caused the town's population to dwindle to 110. With two floods in the past year, many fear the most recent flood will prevent many from returning. Monterey experienced historic flooding in 1937, 1978, 1997, and now 2025.

At the Flood with Love KY festival, we heard that “The Mack” is Linda Jean’s (from The Local Honeys) favorite 🍕pizza! 🎶

So, we brought this show-stopping pizza back!!!

The Mack pizza is covered in a guacamole base, skirt steak, pickled onions, roasted poblanos, and queso fresco.

The Mack was created by the one and only Mash Grass's Mack Logsdon 😎 It’s our limited time pizza special so come on out this week to try it! 🍕
