Wrapped up the final day of AGA LEAD! with group photos featuring representatives from our Area 6 chapters and some of the rock-star AGA staff who are always so supportive of our chapters.

It was great connecting, sharing ideas, and strengthening relationships. We look forward to continuing that collaboration through our upcoming planning sessions for the Commonwealth PDT.

AGA Greater Richmond Chapter representatives Danielle Roache and Thomas Bland Jr. are attending AGA LEAD! 2026 in Arlington, Virginia, on behalf of the chapter.

LEAD! is AGAโ€™s chapter leadership training event, connecting chapter volunteers with AGA national office staff to strengthen leadership development and support more effective chapter operations.

On the first day, Danielle and Thomas had the opportunity to reconnect with members of the AGA - Virginia Peninsula Chapter and Shenandoah Valley AGA Chapter and to meet leaders from chapters across the country. Sessions and discussions covered the art of making the ask, membership recruitment and retention, CGFM, communication and marketing, building partnerships, and Citizen-Centric Reporting.

We look forward to bringing these ideas and resources back to the team as we continue working to enhance member services, increase engagement, build meaningful partnerships, and develop future chapter leaders.
