At NEST4US, we believe that strong partnerships make sustained impact possible.

Grateful to Agape Love in Action for your generous donation supporting our zero hunger efforts. Through this collaboration, thousands of Goodies4Good snack packs reached students in Title I schools, unhoused neighbors, and underserved families across the region.

Access to reliable nutrition is foundational to both learning and well-being, and this work reflects what’s possible when organizations come together with a shared purpose! ❤

The spirit of service has always been fundamental to our national character and essential to our democracy. In 2026, America will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, providing an ideal opportunity to celebrate the American spirit of service.

So happy that NEST4US is an official supporter and collaborator of 250 & Beyond: Our American Story, a national initiative led by the National Museum and Center for Service and Independent Sector to honor the culture of service in communities across the country during America's semiquincentennial.

From the beginning, service to the greater good has been central to the American spirit and the essential core of any democracy. And over the past decade, NEST4US has been built on the same conviction this initiative celebrates: that service to the greater good is central to the American spirit, and that when communities show up for each other, democracy is strengthened.

I invite you to get involved: with 250 & Beyond, with NEST4US, and with the communities around you that need you most. Join us in honoring 250 years of service and inspiring the next 250! ❤

So incredibly proud that our COO, Esha Venkat, was chosen to represent the Georgia Tech Class of 2026 as the student commencement speaker at the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and College of Computing Graduation Ceremony! Walking into that ceremony as part of the processional alongside President Cabrera and distinguished institutional leadership, faculty, and staff to join them on stage was a moment we will never forget.

Graduating in just three years with highest honors, a B.S. in Public Policy, and a minor in Global Development, Esha’s academic journey has been grounded in exploring the intersection of systems and people. Her work reflects a deep understanding that the stories we tell about who belongs in certain rooms matter enormously.

It has been many years since a Public Policy student from the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts has stood at this podium. Esha’s presence on this stage serves as a powerful reminder that Georgia Tech’s commitment to Progress and Service belongs to every discipline, every perspective, and every student who has called themselves a Yellow Jacket.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026—we are proud of all that you have built and excited to see the impact you will create! Esha will continue her journey in Atlanta as she begins her master’s studies, carrying forward a commitment to leadership, service, and social impact! 🐝🎓💛

Our CEO Shreyaa Venkat had an incredible experience taking part as one of 40 national leaders at Youth Service America's “A New Era of Youth Service & Leadership in America” Summit in Wisconsin, hosted at The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread alongside Points of Light, America's Service Commissions, & the National Youth Leadership Council!

Shreyaa had the honor of representing both NEST4US as founder & CEO and YSA as one of their youngest board members, speaking across several sessions, including a featured talk on “Reframing Youth as Today’s Leaders” & a Young Leaders Panel on breaking down barriers to doubling youth participation in service & civic life, where she shared about what we like to call the Youth Service Trifecta: access, trust, & belonging.

What she took away from this insightful convening was America’s youth service infrastructure needs a reimagining. Too often, young people are told to wait for the right age, the right title, or the right room before they can meaningfully contribute. But the truth is, they’re already showing up, leading, & making an impact in their communities. What’s missing is a system that actually recognizes that & gives them the support to grow.

That’s why we founded NEST4US at ages 10 & 13—not because we had everything figured out, but because we saw a need & believed young people could help meet it. Over the last 10 years, we’ve built service pathways, mentorship opportunities, & leadership pipelines that meet young people where they are & help them rise! 💙

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, this moment calls for more than reflection: it calls for action. That means building a culture where service is accessible, meaningful, & shared across generations, & where every young person has the chance not just to participate, but to shape what comes next.

Who’s ready to co-create the new era of youth service with us?

Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.

One of the greatest lessons we’ve learned over the years is that leadership is an ongoing practice. Every service project, partnership, and community interaction is an opportunity to listen, grow, and better understand how we can serve others more intentionally.

At NEST4US, we’ve spent the past decade turning ideas into action by creating pathways for people of all ages and backgrounds to give back, lead, and spark change in their own special ways.

Today, remember that leadership is not about waiting until you feel fully ready. It’s about choosing to start, and continuing to show up with purpose, consistency, and heart! 💜

Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much!

Massive gratitude to First Sterling and Manna From Heaven VA for over half a decade of partnership and support. Special thanks to Bishop Leslie Patterson Jr., co-pastor Dr. Francene V. Patterson, and Debbie Wheeler for their continued kindness and love. By providing consistent space and infrastructure for our resource distributions and service projects, they have been instrumental in our ability to scale our people-powered efforts across the community.

Thank you for helping us build something that one-time efforts rarely achieve: a reliable, dignified, and trusted presence in our community that families can count on.

Grateful to work alongside partners who are just as committed to building stronger, more supported communities together! 💜

It’s hard to capture three years of growth in a single moment, but this certainly comes close!

Such an honor for our COO Esha Venkat to be selected as the graduation student commencement speaker for the Georgia Tech Class of 2026! On May 7th, she will take the stage at McCamish Pavilion to speak at the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts and College of Computing Graduation Ceremony, and she is so deeply honored to be trusted with this moment.

In just three years, Esha has had the privilege of growing, learning, and graduating with highest honors from Georgia Tech’s Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. Tomorrow, she will earn her Bachelor of Science in Public Policy with a minor in Global Development! 🎓

To stand on that stage tomorrow is not just an honor. To her, it’s a responsibility to reflect even a fraction of what this class has accomplished and what lies ahead for all of us. ❤

40% of food in America is wasted, while tens of millions of people go hungry every day. These two facts should not coexist—and at NEST4US, we are doing something about it.

Through our NEST Nurtures zero hunger program, we rescue surplus food (including ingredients that would otherwise be discarded) and transform them into nutritious meals for underserved families and unhoused neighbors across the community.

But this is more than just a food rescue. It’s taking what the system overlooked and turning it into something that nourishes the people receiving it.

And one of the most powerful mechanisms behind this is leveraging cooking as a form of service. Our amazing volunteers share their passion for cooking by preparing home-cooked meals using rescued ingredients and turning them into nourishing, ready-to-eat dishes for families in need. This in turn highlights the circularity of rescuing food, repurposing it, and sharing it with those most in need in dignified ways, representing a beautiful expression of community-driven impact.

At NEST4US, we believe that food waste and food insecurity are two sides of the same systemic failure. And addressing one while ignoring the other is not a solution, but rather a half measure. However, NEST Nurtures exists to close that loop entirely.

After all, hunger and waste are not inevitable. What is inevitable is change, especially when communities are given opportunities to take committed and creative action together.
