Our chapter had a wonderful time lobbying at the General Assembly today (with two members on zoom)! We met with our state representatives Laufer, Callsen, and Deeds. Telling our own stories is the most powerful way to change policies!

We are coming into the week strong after many of us attended No Kings rally over the weekend. To keep the momentum going, we are having a “Get Out the Vote” TONIGHT at 6:30 p.m. on Zoom with Community Change Action!

We will be talking about issues on the upcoming Virginia ballot that will matter the most to our communities. The discussion will cover critical issues surrounding healthcare, child care, and immigration. We will also discuss how we can organize our communities to make sure we are all election-ready.
