Metro Richmond Flying Squad "EVERYONE GOES HOME"

The Metro Richmond Flying Squad is an all volunteer organization. We provide on scene Rehab services to emergency responders.

We are a tax exempt 501 c 3 "EVERYONE GOES HOME"

The Metro Richmond Flying Squad is a Rehab/Canteen response unit staffed by dedicated volunteers who operate at various incidents to offer Rehab/Canteen services to the Metro Richmond emergency responders. The Metro Richmond Flying Squad is a division of the RFD Foundation. Firefighter’s, EMT’s, Paramedic’s and Police officers are the ones we count

on to help us during difficult times. In conjunction with the RFD Foundation, the Metro Richmond Flying Squad is an all-volunteer response team with the mission to provide on scene Rehabilitative / Canteen services to those emergency responders. Emergency workers operate under extreme physical and environmental stress. They can be called upon any second of any day to respond to an area emergency, often during adverse weather conditions. The Metro Richmond Flying Squad provides a “safety net” for those emergency workers by providing a safe, clean area to rest, rehydrate, re-nourish and be medically evaluated for a period prior to going back into emergency operation mode. We appreciate the communities ongoing support and look forward to providing this service for years to come.
