Superintendent Dr. Mwenyewe Dawan had the pleasure of visiting Miss Erica Wattenmaker's kindergarten classroom at Blue Bell Elementary as a guest reader. The students were so excited to welcome Dr. Dawan into their class!

Dr. Dawan shared the book Be You by Peter H. Reynolds, an inspiring story that encourages children to embrace their individuality, discover their unique strengths, show kindness to others, and have the courage to be themselves.

The visit provided an opportunity to connect with students, celebrate a love of reading, and reinforce the important message that every child belongs and can make a positive difference in the world.

WHAT AN HONOR!!!

You’re looking at 42 individuals dedicated to serving Arkansas kids. That’s pretty awesome!

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting the Arkansas Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs, and all these wonderful people, for the Arkansas Alliance Fall Summit. It was great to connect with clubs from across the state and work together to build a brighter future for our community, because one thing’s for certain: ARKANSAS NEEDS CLUB KIDS!💙

We have many more pictures to share, so stay tuned!

Please watch this video snippet of kids speaking on camera about their differences with The Birdie Family.

For the first time ever, the children at The Birdie Family Booth spoke on camera about their differences—and they were incredible. At FXBG Kidfest, we witnessed courage, authenticity, and pure joy as these amazing kids shared their stories. What a milestone moment for these brave young voices! 💙
